We are a UK-based company looking for young, energetic, and academically capable individuals to work as online learning assistants in our Lahore-based office.
Your role will require you to assist UK-based schoolchildren (ages 8-18) with their academic studies via an innovative live chat support and whiteboard system. Our online learning assistants undergo extensive training on the UK academic system, safeguarding legislation, pedagogical techniques, and the platform used before joining us.
Requirements
- Must have excellent fluency in English
- Must have excellent written communication skills
- Must possess at least a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject(s) demonstrating expertise
- Must be able to cover at least one of the subjects we support (Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, and English) to at least high school diploma level – preference will be given to candidates who can teach multiple subjects
- Must feel comfortable using a computer device
- Must display a high standard of ethics, be hard-working, and be open to new approaches
- Must display a willingness to understand the UK curriculum and be responsive to training approaches
- Must complete company training
- Must possess a clean criminal record without convictions, and have the right to work with children
- Preference for individuals who are available for full-time employment (up to 50 hours/week), but open to all applicants
Job description
- Full-time or Part Time Availability
- Answering student’s queries via a live chat support system through our very own platform
- Help students with homework with the Socratic method
- Help students understand theories from their syllabus with relevant examples
- Use the tools available on the whiteboard to answer students’ questions
- Upload sample material
- Prepare content/sample questions/examples
- Collect helpful feedback on the platform and student engagement
