Job Description

One of Horizon Technologies North American Health care customer is looking to transform the Fertility space. We are looking to support our customer in building digital products for their clinics and customers

We are on a mission to make a global impact on health care in North America and as we are growing rapidly, we are looking for Laravel software developers to help us scale our web application, and cloud infrastructure and help us to take our customer to the next level. You will have the opportunity to work with a team of software developers who breath in agile and are in love with releasing quality code and software at speed and at scale.

Must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or similar majors
  • 3 – 5 years of overall software development experience especially with PHP along with a few of its main MVC frameworks like Laravel, Zend, CodeIgniter, etc.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with modern MVC frameworks (Rails, Django, ExpressJS, or Laravel) and development of complex applications in production
  • Minimum 1-year experience with React Native or VueJS– GOOD TO HAVE

Required skills:

  • Good command and Knowledge of AJAX, HTML/HTML5 & CSS/CSS3 (High Proficiency), JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks preferably jQuery (advanced knowledge)
  • Working knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts and techniques using PHP
  • Experience with backend and front-end automated testing frameworks
  • Familiar with RESTful API design and best practices
  • Experience with Postgres, MySQL or other SQL databases
  • Experience in Agile development, CI concepts and Git
  • Strong knowledge of software development best practices, software architecture, software development patterns, object-oriented design, algorithms and data structures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Great to have:

  • DevOps experience deploying to and maintaining a web application on cloud environments such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud

Schedule:

  • Workhours can be anytime between 1pm to 4am Karachi time

Experience:

  • Laravel or Similar : 3 years (required)
